Hi, my name is Kenny Leng and I am an avid online gamer. When I was a little kid, I got hooked on gaming when my dad bought me the first Sega console. I played all kinds of games from Super Mario to Sonic. Growing up in an Asian family, my parents always wanted me to do well in school and become the best in Academics.

However, my heart has always been with gaming and I knew a regular profession won’t cut it for me. After graduating high school, my family and I moved to the United States due to my dad’s faltering business to start a new life here with the help of my auntie.

During my college years, I would often neglect school work in favor of playing video games. I would drop out of classes just to play games. DOTA all stars was a game that I enjoyed a lot.

The only reason I stayed in school was because it was required to get a decent job. During the latter years of college, I started looking for alternative ways to make money besides the traditional 9 to 5 office type job. I stumbled upon trading stocks and I was decent at it. However, due to limited capital, I ventured into blogging in 2008. The funny part is, I had no idea about getting traffic and how Google worked back then. All I wanted was to find ways to make money aside from getting a job. Needless to say, I failed miserably.

The worst part was, I had dropped out of college a year before getting my Bachelor’s in Chemistry. My family gave me a hard time with that decision. There I was at 24, still working an entry level job via Starbucks while my friends graduated and found good office jobs that pay well. However, I know that I value freedom of my own time a lot more than good pay, so I insisted on finding my own path, albeit taking a little longer than my friends.

I didn’t want to give up on my dream of being able to play video games and not worry about money. Then came Pat Flynn’s Niche Site Duel and Spencer’s Niche site success. I was very inspired by them and promptly started my own niche site. I managed to rake in close to $1000 per month from my niche site and start scaling my online business.
